I really like finding a small nook and cranny in the shade, using a long lense and then try and establish a relationship with the subject.

This is a good example, a small doorway under shade with no fill light at all. I also love the warmth of the light.

This portrait was taken in their lounge, the girl was leaning on the back of a sofa and the light is an onboard flash bounced off the wall and ceiling.
